The future offers us complex challenges. Knowing how to listen, understand, but also identify opportunities or solutions and act with the courage to experiment are some of the qualities needed to face future challenges. From creativity for the sake of creativity to design.

About us

‘The Design School for Children’ is a collection of projects aimed at developing and disseminating design culture and methodology in the education of children and young teenagers (ages 3 to 13).

TDSFC was founded in 2014 as a PACO Design Collaborative initiative to propose design approaches and technologies as a new approach to revolutionising education and learning processes. This approach is based on teaching methods that encourage children’s creativity and free expression, as well as on the experiences of Italian design masters such as Bruno Munari and Enzo Mari. It involves developing and implementing creative processes and critical thinking to explore possibilities and, eventually, solve problems. It is a strategy that focuses on investigating and experiencing the actual world, views failure as a learning opportunity, and use tools like research, visualisation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
